Ok so you missed most of it but believe me its been a trip so far. Its like that film with Tom Hanks, you know the one, "The money pit" and a labour of love. Here is the bus arriving from Belgium 2 yrs ago .
And then 18 months later its turned into something of partial beauty. My Eleanor.
and it will get better , believe me. Watch this space
Today was a nightmare day. First my daughter wanted to play with the windows. Then BANG!!! one window less. Then I started the shittest job there is for a bus in my view, THE BLOODY ELECTRICS... Weel at leat i got the dashboard and steering column in so we can steer it now.
Today I Wired in the electrics to the engine and Dashboard. Connected a jeerycan to the fuel hose and fires it up. Wow what a feeling when you have rebuilt the engine and it fires up and only for the second time of asking. Greeaaaattt feeling. Now to get the missing window. Dress it up and fit it. The rest are all in place. Apart from sunroof.
Next i will upload the interior with the current view so you can see there is a little work to go.
OK so the inside needs a bit of work still. Nice ass though.
Right thats it for now. First off to Budapest and Friday back to do some more.
